First listening /// You Me At Six “Loverboy”

August 11 saw the premiere of the new song by You Me At Six called “Loverboy” at Zane Lowe’s show at BBC Radio 1 and XFm Radio. This is the song from their forthcoming album “Sinners Never Sleep” and, as Josh and Max told, it was the first song they wrote for the record and the band are happy about this track.

“Loverboy” is a song to surprise YM@6 listeners. It has a heavier touch to it and is spiced up with powerful melody. The track has the traits of both – old You Me At Six sound and something new which they gained during the years after the release of their latest album “Hold Me Down” in 2010. “Loverboy” is an obvious step up  and pretty much shows how the band evolved into a heavier ground without losing their identity.
