All-time favourites /// Lostprophets “Start Something”

“Start Something” is the second album by the Welsh band Lostprophets which on its release in 2004 brought them big international success. Now it’s still considered to be one of the best Lostprophets records. It was certified platinum in the UK and Gold in the USA.

The band worked with the producer Eric Valentine at “Start Something” which became a follow-up to Lostprophets’ debut album “Thefakesoundofprogress”. The name of the album fully reflects its philosophy which urges the listeners to get up and fight for their dreams, achieve their goals and not to be afraid of anything. It’s a highly energetic, motivating album with the respective sound which rushes further and pushes over the limits with its intensity and charisma. “Start Something” is almost entirely built upon anthemic rock songs most of which are still great favourites among the band’s fans to sing along to at concerts.

“Start Something” is the last album to feature Lostprophets’ original drummer Mike Chiplin. Besides, the track “Last Train Home” features guest vocals from Good Charlotte members Billy Martin and Benji Madden.
