News /// Your Demise Reveal New Video And Record!

Your Demise have revealed a new video for the track ‘Push Me Under’ from their third album ‘The Golden Age’. The video was directed by Sam Bailey, who also took part in making Your Demise’s video for ‘These Lights’, and captures the band tear up Tramlines Festival in Sheffield and Shepherd’s Bush Empire in London (on their tour supporting Young Guns). This rapidly-moving video perfectly catches Your Demise’s energy while on stage and transfers the atmosphere of their live shows to viewers. The track, on the other side, touches upon the darker and introspective side of ‘The Golden Age’. Watch the video for ‘Push Me Under’ here.

Moreover, in December Your Demise are returning to the studio with John Mitchell – the man who produced ‘Ignorance Never Dies’ and ‘The Kids We Used To Be…’ and mixed ‘The Golden Age’. The band are planning to record a brand-new EP, which is due to be released in January 2013. This yet untitled EP will also be the first independent release from Your Demise since 2007 and will be released via Leeds based D.I.Y label Pinky Swear Records as a limited edition 7”, and as digital and physical release via Music Glue and Impericon.  Stu Paice (guitar) says: “It feels so good to be fully in control of the destiny of our releases again. ‘The Golden Age’ definitely marked the beginning of an exciting new chapter for our band, but now we get to combine the strength of these new experiences with our D.I.Y roots to shape the next stage. The best is yet to come!” Now, this sounds truly exciting!
