Glue – ‘Balloon’ [EP] 2016

Glue Photoshoot -301

Having risen out of its former incarnation Projected Images, Glue was born after a line-up change – the kind of change which proves crucial and brings a fresh start to the tried and tested ways. December 2015 saw the band launching properly and presenting their debut single ‘Peace For Now’. This summer will be marked by the release of Glue’s EP ‘Balloon’.

‘Balloon’ is a thought-out affair, inspired by living in London and important events in the band’s lives. Covering a range of topics from hope to escape, ‘Balloon’ boasts tight melodies touched by shades of grunge, rock and art punk. It varies from slow-tempo passages to hard-hitting explosions aiming higher and higher to the skies. Sonic outbursts make one’s heart race and glimpses of surreal, hypnotic moods make these tracks a speciality indeed. There’s thought in every line and exquisite craftsmanship in each track, with nothing excess or unnecessary and everything being totally in its place. Cherry-picked and carefully executed music decisions form an intense soundscape which is enjoyable and fresh to the ear.

Glue are well ready to debut with ‘Balloon’ which shows the band’s art of creating music as mesmerising and highly eclectic.
