Kaiser Chiefs live @ Hurricane Festival

It’s priceless! Kaiser Chiefs’ full performance at Hurricane Festival 2011. Watch Kaiser’s performance with some bits of comments and interviews from the band.

The latest album by Kaiser Chiefs “The Future Is Medieval” was spread with the help of a very interesting scheme. The band composed 20 songs and put up their previews on their official website. After that each fan could go to the website and after listening to all tracks make up their own version of the album consisting of 10 songs. Then it was possible to buy the final version of the album for 7 pounds.  If someone was lazy enough to create their own list but liked some version on the website, they could buy it and that meant that the creator of the list would receive 1 pound from each sold copy.

On the one hand it sounds rather complicated, but on the other nowadays musicians choose more and more unusual ways to spread their music and involve fans in the process. And it’s not such a bad thing in the end.

Have a say
